Pan-Asian · Dubai
Pan-Asian is our specialism, not a menu section.
Japanese, Chinese, Burmese, Mongolian and Thai, cooked by the teams behind the group's own restaurants.
Most caterers in Dubai treat pan-Asian as one line on a buffet: a fried rice, a sweet-and-sour, a token noodle. We run it as a specialism, because the group operates the restaurants the recipes come from — Royal Orchid, Soy Express and Oh! Sushi — and has done for decades.
Those kitchens have won What's On Best Chinese Restaurant more than once, Time Out Winner for Best South East Asian Restaurant, and What's On Best Far Eastern Restaurant. The catering menus are the restaurant recipes, at event scale.

The countries
Five kitchens, not one Asian menu.
- Japanese: maki, nigiri and rolls cut live by the Oh! Sushi team, plus teppan-style wok service.
- Chinese: Indo-Chinese favourites alongside authentic regional Chinese from the Royal Orchid kitchen, and dim sum for cocktail service.
- Burmese: khao suey with the full condiment tray, atho, and the noodle-salad dishes a Dubai crowd rarely finds outside a handful of restaurants.
- Mongolian: live Mongolian grill and barbecue, cooked to order at the counter with your choice of sauce.
- Thai: green and red curries, tom yum, laksa and wok dishes balanced for the table.
Khao suey
The dish people search for and cannot find catered.
Khao suey is a Burmese coconut noodle bowl assembled by the guest: the broth and noodles go in first, then the condiments — fried garlic, crushed peanuts, chilli oil, spring onion, lime, crisp noodles. It only works from a live counter, which is why it sits on our curry-noodle station rather than in a chafing dish.
That station also serves laksa and Thai curry from the same counter, so one chef covers three cuisines for a mixed room.

Common questions
Answers before you ask.
- Who does pan-Asian catering in Dubai?
- Cater Inc. specialises in it. The group operates Royal Orchid, Soy Express and Oh! Sushi, and the catering menus come from those restaurant kitchens — Japanese, Chinese, Burmese, Mongolian and Thai.
- Can you cater khao suey in Dubai?
- Yes. Khao suey is served from our live curry-noodle station with the full condiment tray, alongside laksa and Thai curry. It is assembled by the guest at the counter rather than held in a chafing dish.
- Do you cater Burmese food?
- Yes, including khao suey and atho. Burmese is one of the five pan-Asian kitchens we run, not an occasional special.
- Do you have a Mongolian grill or barbecue station?
- Yes. Live Mongolian-style grill and barbecue runs at AED 28 per guest, cooked to order at the counter. It needs ventilation or an outdoor placement.
- Do you cater Chinese food in Dubai?
- Yes, both Indo-Chinese and authentic regional Chinese, from the Royal Orchid restaurant kitchen. The group's Chinese restaurants have won What's On Best Chinese Restaurant more than once.
- Can Asian and Indian menus run at the same event?
- Yes, and most large events are exactly that. Eleven cuisines come from the same kitchen, which is the usual reason clients consolidate to one caterer.
- Are vegetarian pan-Asian menus available?
- Yes, including vegetarian dim sum, wok dishes, khao suey and curries. Jain versions without onion, garlic or root are cooked on a separate line.
