A Cater Inc. team setting up an outdoor garden dinner at a private villa in Dubai at dusk

Private & home catering · Dubai

Catering at home, done properly.

Birthdays, Diwali, anniversaries and the dinner party you would rather host than cook. From twenty guests upward.

Most catering companies in Dubai are built for ballrooms and treat a villa party as an inconvenience. We run the small events on the same standard as the large ones: the floor of our operation is twenty guests, and a private chef's table at home is a listed service rather than a favour.

What arrives is the whole thing, not just food. Service staff, chafing dishes, crockery hire, live counters and post-event cleanup are all quotable line items, priced before you commit.

Occasions

What people actually book us for.

  • Birthdays and milestone parties, indoors or in the garden.
  • Diwali, Eid and festival dinners with full vegetarian or Jain menus.
  • Anniversaries and intimate sit-down dinners for ten to fifty.
  • House-warmings and family gatherings with live chaat or dosa counters.
  • Yacht and beach catering, delivered and set up on site.
  • Kids' parties with a separate simpler menu alongside the adult spread.

What it costs

A worked example, not a range.

Fifty guests on the Premium package at AED 150 per head is AED 7,500 of food. Two waiters at AED 150 is AED 300. Transport is AED 500. That is AED 8,300, plus 5% VAT, for a fully staffed party of fifty with a live station included in the package.

Add crockery and cutlery hire at AED 9 per guest if you would rather not use your own, soft drinks at AED 12 per guest, and a cleaning crew at AED 250 if you want the house back the way it was.

In your home

What we need from you.

Safe and timely access, parking, power and water, and a working area for the team. That is the whole list. Everything else, including gas for live counters, comes with us.

Food is prepared for a safe service window. We are happy to leave the spread out for the length of your party, but not for consumption after the agreed service period.

Common questions

Answers before you ask.

What is the minimum number of guests for home catering in Dubai?
Twenty guests, with a minimum order value of AED 2,500. Below twenty we can still cater, but the AED 2,500 minimum applies.
Do you bring staff and crockery to a house party?
Yes. Service staff are AED 150 per waiter, with one waiter per 25 guests and a minimum of two. Crockery and cutlery hire is AED 9 per guest. Round tables, basic and premium chairs are available as rental items.
Can you set up a live station in a villa?
Yes. Live chaat, dosa, wok, grill and dessert counters all run at private homes and are priced from AED 20 to AED 30 per guest. Each station beyond the ones included in your package carries an AED 250 setup and chef fee. Gas cylinders are AED 80.
Do you clean up afterwards?
A cleaning crew is available at AED 250 for post-event cleanup. Without it, the team clears its own equipment and service area but not the whole house.
Can you do a pure-vegetarian or Jain menu for a festival dinner?
Yes, and it is cooked on a separate line rather than adapted. Jain menus carry no onion, no garlic and no root. Fully vegan menus are available on the same basis.
How late can I change the guest count?
Up to 72 hours before the event. Increases inside that window are accommodated subject to kitchen availability and may carry a surcharge. Charges are based on the confirmed count or actual attendance, whichever is higher.
