A candlelit long-table wedding dinner in a garden venue, styled by Cater Inc. in Abu Dhabi

Wedding catering · Abu Dhabi

Wedding catering in Abu Dhabi.

The city where we started, in 1985. Four decades of weddings, from the family home to the Emirates Palace ballroom.

Cater Inc. is the catering arm of The Royal Orchid Group, which began in Abu Dhabi in 1985 with Kwality, the city's veteran Indian restaurant. Forty years later the group runs fourteen restaurants and nine brands out of this city, and the catering division still serves more weddings here than anywhere else.

That history is the reason we know the venues, the protocol and the timings. It is also why the reference list reads the way it does: Emirates Palace, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Le Méridien Abu Dhabi, W Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, Rixos Saadiyat Island, Zaya Nurai Island and the Embassy of India.

The week, not the night

Mehndi through reception, one kitchen.

  • Mehndi and haldi menus built around chaat, street food and daytime vegetarian spreads.
  • Sangeet grazing and live stations so guests eat between the performances.
  • Nikah and reception service, plated or buffet, with a full brigade and front-of-house.
  • Sweets from Chhappan Bhog, holder of the 2019 Guinness World Record for the largest display of sweets.

Protocol

Held to the standard the occasion demands.

Cater Inc. has catered for heads of state, embassies and royal households, including the RuPay card launch by Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Emirates Palace. Weddings with dignitaries on the guest list are run with the same discretion: staffing plans agreed in advance, kitchen access confirmed, and service timed to the programme rather than the clock.

Pricing

The same numbers, whichever emirate.

Packages are AED 125, 150 and 180 per head. Service staff are AED 150 per waiter, one per 25 guests with a minimum of two. Transport is a flat AED 500 and VAT is 5%. Nothing on that list changes between Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Every price on this page is the price our booking engine charges. Build the menu online and the total updates as you choose, food, service, transport and VAT included.

Common questions

Answers before you ask.

How much does wedding catering cost in Abu Dhabi?
The same as Dubai: AED 125 per head on Classic, AED 150 on Premium and AED 180 on Luxury, plus AED 500 transport, AED 150 per waiter and 5% VAT. A 300-guest reception on Premium works out near AED 45,000 in food before staff, transport and VAT.
Do you cater at Emirates Palace and the major Abu Dhabi hotels?
We have worked at Emirates Palace, Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Le Méridien Abu Dhabi, W Abu Dhabi on Yas Island, Rixos Saadiyat Island, Etihad Arena and Zaya Nurai Island, among others. Venue rules vary, so confirm outside-catering permission with your venue first.
Who handles Abu Dhabi enquiries?
Gaurav Varma, our Chief Executive Officer, looks after Abu Dhabi directly. Dubai and the Northern Emirates go to Amit Chopra.
What is the largest wedding you have catered?
3,500 guests at a single event. Production runs through a 6,500 sq ft HACCP-certified facility with full traceability, which is what makes that guest count repeatable rather than a one-off.
How is the booking confirmed?
On a 50% deposit. The balance is due on or before the event date, the final guest count 72 hours before, and charges are based on the confirmed number or actual attendance, whichever is higher.
