Chhappan Bhog has been making Indian sweets and savouries in Abu Dhabi since 1996, more than seventy varieties of them, all pure vegetarian and made by hand.
It is the kitchen Prime Minister Narendra Modi chose at the RuPay card launch at Emirates Palace, buying a box of its handcrafted sweets to mark the moment. It holds the 2019 Guinness World Record for the largest display of sweets, and it is the same kitchen that makes the desserts for every Cater Inc. event.

Each box is an assortment from Chhappan Bhog's range of handmade sweets, chosen for how they travel and how long they keep, with savoury boxes available for teams who would rather not have sugar. Everything Chhappan Bhog makes is pure vegetarian, so a single box suits every desk in the office.
For clients outside the city, or gifts that will sit on a desk over the long weekend, tell us when the boxes will be opened and we choose the assortment to suit.
When to order
Order early for Diwali week.
Diwali is Sunday 8 November 2026, and most offices hand out sweets on Thursday 5 or Friday 6 November. Because every box is made fresh in the days before delivery, the kitchen's capacity for Diwali week is set well in advance. Enquire in October, and earlier still for orders in the hundreds.
The same boxes work for Christmas and New Year gifting, client thank-yous and Eid, outside the Diwali rush.
With the celebration

Many offices pair the boxes with a Diwali lunch or staff party catered by us. The same kitchen supplies the gulab jamun, the halwa and the live jalebi with rabri on the day, and the boxes go home with the team at the end.
