Ramadan catering has one constraint no other event has: the food is served at a fixed minute, decided by the sun rather than by the host. Everything else about the evening is arranged around that. A spread that is ten minutes late is not a late spread, it is a failed one.
So the plan runs backwards from Maghrib. Dates and laban go out first and reach every guest before the call, the hot service follows immediately behind it, and the team stays through the prayer to reset for the main meal. Forty years of Ramadans in this country are what that timing is built on.
When
Ramadan 2027, and when to book.
Ramadan 1448 is expected to begin around 8 February 2027 in the UAE, with Eid al-Fitr expected around 9 March 2027. Both are subject to confirmation by the UAE Moon Sighting Committee, so treat the dates as a planning guide rather than a fixture until they are announced.
Corporate iftar dates go first, and the last ten nights go earliest of all. For a team iftar, two to three months ahead is comfortable; inside a month is workable but the choice of date narrows quickly. Nothing is charged to hold a conversation about it.

- The team holds through prayer and resets the floor for the main meal.
- Suhoor, where booked, runs as a separate later service with its own menu.
- Service staff are briefed on the fast: no eating or drinking on the floor.
What it costs
A worked example, not a range.
A hundred-guest corporate iftar on the Premium package at AED 150 per head is AED 15,000 of food. Four waiters at AED 150 is AED 600, transport is AED 500, and the total before VAT is AED 16,100. With 5% VAT that is AED 16,905, staffed and set up.
Dates and laban for the opening service are part of the Ramadan menu rather than an extra. Crockery and cutlery hire is AED 9 per guest if the venue has none, and soft drinks are AED 12 per guest.

- When is Ramadan 2027 in the UAE?
- It is expected to begin around 8 February 2027, with Eid al-Fitr expected around 9 March 2027. Both depend on the UAE Moon Sighting Committee, which confirms close to the time, so a booked date is usually agreed as a calendar date with the understanding that the month may shift by a day.
- How far ahead should a corporate iftar be booked?
- Two to three months is comfortable and the last ten nights go earliest. Inside a month is still workable, but the choice of dates narrows fast and popular evenings are gone first.
- Do you serve dates and laban before the call to prayer?
- Yes, and this is the part we plan first. Dates, laban and water are on every seat before Maghrib so the fast is broken on time rather than in a queue, and hot service opens straight after.
- Can you cater suhoor as well as iftar?
- Yes. Suhoor runs as a separate late service with its own lighter menu and its own staffing. It can be booked on its own or alongside an iftar on the same evening.
- What is the minimum for iftar catering?
- Twenty guests, with a minimum order value of AED 2,500, the same floor as every other service. Packages start at AED 125 per head for Classic, AED 150 for Premium and AED 180 for Luxury.
- Do you do iftar boxes for distribution?
- Yes, packed and delivered to a schedule you set. Tell us the count, the drop points and the time each one has to land, and the quote is built from that.
- Are your kitchens halal?
- Yes. The production kitchens are HACCP certified and the group has run halal catering in the UAE since 1985, including for embassy and institutional clients.
