Menus we've cooked · Dubai Hills
Garden dinners and live counters in Dubai Hills.
Sixteen parties in the community since 2024, most of them in the garden. Here is one of the menus.
Dubai Hills is where we cook most often. The parties are in villa gardens, usually for 25 to 50 guests, and the hosts tend to want the kitchen outside with them: breads off a live tandoor, a chaat counter and a barbecue running while people eat.
Below is the menu from a dinner for between fifty and a hundred guests in 2026, which ran three live counters, and after it the counters and dishes Dubai Hills hosts have asked for again and again.

On the day
What a party in Dubai Hills needs.
Dubai Hills is a gated community, so our van is registered at the gate before the day. Tell us the villa's community when you book and we send security what it asks for.
Of the parties where we noted it, nine of ten were in the garden. That is where the tandoor and the charcoal barbecue go, because both need open air; the chaat, dosa and wok counters can stand on a patio or inside on butane.

Common questions
Answers before you ask.
- Can the live counters go in a Dubai Hills garden?
- Yes, and most of our parties there put them on the lawn or the patio. The tandoor and charcoal barbecue need the garden; chaat, dosa, wok and jalebi counters run on butane and can go wherever there is a flat, safe spot.
